Dennis I. Carr

Dennis Irving Carr, age 72, passed away at Bradford Hills Personal Care Home in Burlington, PA on September 15, 2024.
Dennis was pre-deceased by his parents, Loran Carr Jr and Adell Gardner-Carr and his brother, Daniel Carr.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters; Theodore Carr (Kathy), Crystal Parker, Lori Carr, Nancy Stuckey, Loren Carr III, Joyce Potter, and Paul Carr. Dennis is also survived by his children Todd Carr (Amy), Tammy Smith and his grandchildren; Emily Carr, Jacob Carr, Courtney Daum, Paige Smith and Wyatt Smith as well as his great grandson Rylan Bachert and many nieces, nephews, cousins and his close and special friend Doris Harding.
Dennis was born in Blossburg, PA. He was a lifelong resident of Elkland, PA. He graduated from Elkland Area High School in 1970. Dennis was well known for his strong work ethic and his devotion to family. He retired from Truck Lite in Wellsboro, PA in 2016. He enjoyed auto mechanics and could frequently be found helping neighbors and friends work on their vehicles. He was also a longtime member of the Elkland Moose Lodge #746. Dennis was also an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed camping, hunting, and fishing, but his favorite activity was enjoying time with his grandchildren.
