Dennis Coyle Obituary
November 16, 1941 - November 6, 2025
Dennis G. Coyle, age 83, of Council Bluffs, IA, passed away November 6, 2025, at his home. Dennis was born November 16, 1941, in Council Bluffs to the late Louis and Marie (Mathison) Coyle.
He attended Abraham Lincoln High School and proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1964–1966. Dennis married Patricia Ann Miller on May 28, 1966. They were blessed with three children, Criss, Carri, and Jeff. Dennis worked at Kellogg's for 33 years retiring in 2000. He loved hunting, fishing, and guns. In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia, in 2022, and his brother, Mike Coyle in 2003.
Dennis is survived by daughters, Criss (Mike) Harris, Carri (David) Daugherty all of Council Bluffs; son, Jeff Coyle of Littleton, CO; grandchildren, Nicholas (April) Harms, Kylee (Jacob) Laverman, Nathan (Alexis) Harms, Kacie (Chino) Harms, Taylor (Conor) Green, and Bradley Daugherty, eight great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family, Sunday, 3 to 5 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. Private family graveside on Monday in Cedar Lawn Cemetery with military rites tendered by the Kanesville Honor Guard. The family will direct memoria contributions.

I have missed Dennis coming into Hyvee. I waited on him many times. I also retired from kelloggs. Last time I saw him he said he was moving. I have been wondering about him lately. I just now heard about him. I will miss him. God bless his family
