Dennis Eugene DeBurger

Mr. Dennis Eugene DeBurger, age 70, of Madison, Indiana entered this life on July 3, 1951 in Madison, Indiana. He was the son of the late Eugene and Thelma Bellamy DeBurger. He was a graduate of Madison Consolidated High School and served in the United States Marine Corps and was honorably discharged. He worked at M & T Chemical, Madison Plastics, Creative Products in Jeffersonville, Indiana, Nu Yale Cleaners, and was a machine operator at Versatile Processing in New Washington, Indiana when he retired. He was a member of the Madison community all of his life and attended the First Baptist Church and held membership in the Major Samuel Woodfill Post No. 9 of the American Legion Post. Dennis enjoyed fishing, hunting and being outdoors. Dennis died on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at 9:53 a.m. at the Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
\A LOVING FAMILY
Dennis will be missed by his loving sister, Gloria DeBurger Wilson of Madison, Indiana; his aunt, Mary Francis "Butch" Jones of Madison, Indiana; his niece and caregiver, Angela Youngblood of Madison, Indiana; his nieces and his nephews, Curtis, Jordan, Audrey, Natasha, Jennifer; his great nieces and great nephews, Brandon, Breonna, Candace, Dorrian, and Scarlett; his very close cousin, Dallas Ray "Bucky" Bellamy of California; other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Floyd DeBurger, December 18, 1992, his mother, Thelma Lavell Bellamy DeBurger, died July 3, 1960, his brothers, Thomas Joseph DeBurger, died May 31, 2010 and Ronald Lee DeBurger, died April 7, 1954 and David Ray DeBurger, died June 4, 2020, and his sister, Thelma Jean DeBurger Ashby, died October 22, 2014.
FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at 6:00 p.m., by Pastor Jeff Jones at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive Madison, Indiana. Interment will be private at a later date in the Springdale Cemetery,600 West Fifth Street in downtown Madison, Indiana.

VISITATION
Friends may Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the Morgan &Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
MILITARY HONORS
A final salute with military honors will be conducted by the Major Samuel Woodfill Post No. 9 of the American Legion.
