He was the beloved husband of the late Clare K. Deneen, with whom he shared 59 wonderful years of marriage. Together they raised three children and created a home where all were welcome. He was predeceased by cherished son, Dennis W. Deneen of Hanson, and his treasured "favorite" son-in-law, Richard A. Freitas of Pembroke. Dennis leaves behind his loving daughter Donna M. Deneen and his wife Karen of Quincy, and his sister Kathleen Keefe and her husband Thomas of Stony Point, NY, as well as two nieces, his nephew and their families who will remember him fondly. Dennis was a graduate of Curry College and enjoyed a long, respected career at Raytheon, where he formed deep lasting friendships. He approached his work with dedication and integrity, and his colleagues became a second family. He adored his home in Hanover, a place of joy where countless memories were made. Whether relaxing on his deck, hosting family gatherings by the backyard pool, or chatting with neighbors, Dennis found happiness in simple pleasures and meaningful connections. An avid outdoorsman, Dennis found solace and excitement in nature. He spent many joyful hours golfing, hunting, and fishing - pastimes that brought him both adventure and camaraderie. Private services and burial will be arranged by Sullivan Funeral Home in Hanover. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations in Dennis' memory be made to the Hanover Food Pantry or Old Colony Hospice - two organizations that reflect his generous heart and love for community. Dennis will be remembered always for his unwavering devotion to family and his gentle humor and wisdom with which he lived his life.
