Dennis James Dennett was born May 19, 1968, at Susan B. Anthony hospital in Eldorado Ks, to Darrel and Rebecca (Skinnell) Dennett. He died November 11, 2025, at his home in Laveen, Az and he was 57 years old. The family lived in Augusta, Ks until March1975 when they moved to Newton, Ks. He attended Newton schools and graduated in 1986. He worked at west wind restaurant and mid-continent cabinetry.

He belonged to Cub Scouts, played the trumpet, played baseball and basketball. He collected stamps, baseball cards, comic books and match books. He was a member of 1st United Methodist Church in Newton.

After graduation in 1986 he moved to Phoenix, Az to attend Phoenix Institute of Technology and was a precision journey drafts man. Shane Cornell went with him. He worked at the coliseum where he met his future wife, Adela. They were married May 18, 1991, in Denver and were for 34 years until her death September 10, 2025. Dennis joined the Airforce February 27, 1991, and was in the Airforce until February 26, 1995. He was stationed at Seattle McChord and Denver Airforce base as a E4 Rank. Dennis and Adela went on a trip with Bob and Becky Jackson and Jim and Betty Skinnell in 2007 to Yellowstone.

He is survived by his dad Darrel Dennett, His mother Becky Jackson, his brother Darren Dennett in Newton, Ks, his brother Duaine Dennell of Wellington, KS and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Adela, his grandparents Jim and Sabella Skinnell, Bill and Ione Dennett, great grandparents Jim and vi Dennett, Frank and Jessie Drysdale, his stepdad Bob Jackson plus several aunts, uncles and cousins.

His service will be at Petersen funeral home on December 6th at 2p.m.
