Dennis (Denny) Miller Sr. 70 of Summerville SC, formerly of Beaver Falls PA, passed away Saturday morning surrounded by his loved ones after a brief but hard fought battle.
He was an avid sports fan of all things black and gold. He was a proud member of the Beaver Falls High School baseball team section 5 WPIAL champs, class of 73. He loved coaching youth sports for many years. He was the co-founder of Palmetto Senior Amateur Tour and being on the golf course was his home away from home.
He loved his friends and family and will miss you all.
He was proceeded in death by his mother Margaret Ann Lynch Miller, his younger brother Ronnie Miller and his best friend Tom Drake.
He is survived by; Lynne Austin, his beloved life partner. His Son, Dennis Miller Jr. (Jocelyn). His Daughter, Margo Black (Lee). Three step children, Heather Milardo (Chris), Michelle Bunch (Stephen) and Mickey Akers (Kelly). 12 grandchildren, who were the light of his life. Whitnee Jones, Landon Miller, Easton Miller, Ryleigh Parker, Ava Parker, Garrett Black, Addi Bowser, Nick Milardo, Briston Bunch, Colton Bunch, Caroline Akers and Benjamin Akers. He also leaves behind his brother Jack Miller, sister Jean Kalac(Albert), nephew Chuck Galzarano (Elaina), ex-wife Kay Miller and sweet dog Harper Lee. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Tee or Folds of Honor.
In keeping with his wishes there will be no formal services, but a celebration of life.
The nightly ceremony in Washington, D.C. will be dedicated in honor of your loved one on the day of your choosing.
