Dennis Wayne Drury

Dennis Wayne Drury, loving son, husband, father, grandfather and Pap Pap, 71, of Hagerstown, Md., passed away, Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at University of Maryland Medical Center, Baltimore, Md.

Born February 8, 1954 in Hagerstown the son of the late, Sally Ann Drury. In addition to his mother he also was preceded in death by,one brother, Ace and three sisters, Virginia, Dixie and Trixie.

Dennis retired as a truck driver and then continued working for Craig Paving, Hagerstown. He was a member of the Owls Club and enjoyed yard work, motorcycles and his sports cars.

Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Tammy Sue (Castle) Drury; one son, Steven W. Drury, Sr. of Hagerstown; two daughters, Courtney M. Sheppard (Shawn) of Greencastle, Pa. and Paige Drury; four grandchildren, Autumn, Amber, Steven, Jr. and Declan (Little Buddy); two great grandchildren, Kaiden and Sawyer (Hubba-Bubba); two brothers, Pete Socks (Mary Ann) of Gettysburg, Pa. and Jack Socks (Nancy) of Hagerstown; two sisters, Gloria Beard (Larry) of Boonsboro, Md. and Beck Robinson (Bob) of Williamsport, Md.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 from 6-8 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown.

Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at 11:00 A.M.

Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
