Dennis A. Duscher, 52-year-old resident of Rice, MN, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2025 at his home in Rice.

Mass of Christian Burial held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, August 8, 2025 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pierz with Father Aaron Nett officiating. Burial in the Parish Cemetery. Visitation held from 4 to 7 P.M. on Thursday at the LeMieur Funeral Home in Little Falls and 10 to 11 A.M. on Friday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pierz. Caring for Dennis and his family is the LeMieur Funeral Home in Little Falls, MN.

Dennis was born on January 24, 1973 in Little Falls, MN to Donald Alex Duscher and Mavis Christensen. At 2 months old, he was given to his grandparents, Jacob and Christina Duscher of Pierz, MN, to be raised. He graduated from Pierz High School in 1991. Dennis joined the Minnesota National Guard when he was 17, and after graduating from high school, he attended school at Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland. He returned home and worked at Camp Ripley for 1-1/2 years. He also stayed in the guard for 5 years before leaving for Baumholder, Germany and Active Duty in the Army. Back and shoulder problems made him decide to come back to Minnesota and start a family. In 1996, he met his wife, Kristina in Saint Cloud, MN, where he was attending college. He then worked at Bauerly Brothers on a crusher until a back surgery disabled him in 2007. He and Kristina then moved to Rice, MN, bought a house, and raised their family. He was a hunter and a fisherman. Dennis loved guns and being outdoors. He was a mechanic and liked working on vehicles. He loved watching the Vikings play in his garage with a good friend. He loved spending time at the family's hunting land in Mizpah, MN. Dennis loved animals and even had a Min-Pin that lived to be 22 years old right alongside his children.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Kristina; children, Ashley (Anthony) Hadrich of Holdingford MN, Samantha Duscher of Rice, MN, and son, Bret Duscher of Rice, MN; grandchildren, Riley, Evelyn and Adeline Hadrich of Holdingford, Madeline Leibfried of Rice, MN; his father, Donald (Edith) Duscher of Deer River, MN; sisters, Natalie Czech of Brainerd, MN, Donna Mullen (Tom) of Rice Lake, WI; brother, Donald Duscher of Fort Ripley, MN; and his Miniature Pincher, Axel.

Dennis was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jacob (Christina) Duscher; mother, Mavis Christensen; sister, Bonnie Schneider; brother, Donald "Little Donald" Duscher, and half-brother, Charlie Duscher.
