Dennis Dwyer

1950 - 2026

Dennis Edward Dwyer passed away on February 24, 2026 at the age of 75 in Dunedin, Florida. Born April 11 in St. Louis, Missouri to Aloha and John Edward, he will be missed by his brothers Forrest (Jackie) and Keith (Barb); children John (Cara), David (Michelle), and Elizabeth (Christopher); grandchildren Paxton, Charli, Dani, Riley, Taron; his loyal dog Ramsey; and extended family and friends.

Equal parts faithful and flawed, Dennis was devoted to his family, his church, and his community. His rituals included choir, couponing, Christmas cookie baking, and using food generally as a display of affection. Dennis treated his work as a form of service and, like his own father, never completely retired. After spending the majority of his life as a company man and husband, Dennis was as unprepared for those chapters to end as we were to lose him.

Most recently, Dennis enjoyed traveling to see his grandkids and spending time with them reading stories, being silly, and teaching them to cook. While his family and friends will miss him greatly, we rejoice knowing he has joined God's heavenly choir.

A visitation at 2 PM and memorial service at 4 PM will be held on March 7, 2026 at Curlew Hills Memory Gardens, 1750 Curlew Rd, Palm Harbor, Florida.
