Dennis Epps Jr., a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home on February 27, 2026, at the age of 58, surrounded by love. Born on October 1, 1967, in Alexandria, Dennis lived a life marked by his dedication to family and a passion for his work.

Dennis had a successful career at Cox Communications, where his contributions were valued and appreciated. In addition to his professional accomplishments, he found joy in various hobbies and interests. He had a knack for fixing cars, a pursuit that showcased his problem-solving skills and creativity. Dennis also enjoyed immersing himself in the world of video games and was a devoted fan of football, with a particular affection for his favorite team, the New Orleans Saints.

Above all, Dennis took immense pride in his family, with his children and grandchildren standing as his proudest accomplishments. He is survived by his daughter, Tayla Gotch, and her husband, Kevin; his son, Thaddeus Kelly-Epps; his cherished grandson, Khairi Gotch; and his beloved granddaughter, Kaia Gotch.
