Dennis Fox, of Moorestown, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospice in Allentown. He was 82 years old. Dennis was the beloved husband of Joan (Tanczos) Fox for 59 wonderful years.
Born in Bethlehem, Dennis was the son to the late Jacob & Hattie (Hahn) Fox.
Dennis earned his Bachelor's degree from Kutztown State University and dedicated his career to the field of chemistry, working for NJ Zinc Co. in Palmerton and later for the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection. Throughout his life, he developed a passion for woodworking and gardening, and found joy traveling to many National and State Parks throughout the United States. Dennis served in the US Army as a Specialist-5 and received medals for Rifle Expert, National Defense Service, and Good Conduct.
Along with his wife Joan, Dennis is survived by his two sons, David Fox and his wife, Maria of Jefferson Hills, PA; Michael Fox and his wife, Kristen of Poolesville, MD; 5 grandchildren; siblings; Dolores Fritz and her late husband, Russell, the late Richard Fox and his wife, Flossie, Glenn Fox and his late wife, Linda, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Services and interment for Dennis will take place privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements and cremation are under the care and direction of the George G. Bensing Funeral Home, Inc. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at: bensingfuneralhome.net.
