Dennis Ray Friesen, 69, died March 24, 2025, at his residence. He was born February 12, 1956, in Hutchinson to Milton W. and Carmen Talbott Friesen.
Dennis graduated from Hutchinson High School. He worked the Dillons perishable warehouse for twenty years. Dennis also worked at Underground Vaults and Storage. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and rock music.
Dennis had a unique sense of humor that could light up a room. He enjoyed making people laugh. Dennis always had a smile on his face. He had an enormous heart and never met a stranger. He was close with God regularly reading on not only how to better his relationships, but also himself. He was a work in progress, but never forgot those closest to him. He was proud of his family and especially his children and grandchildren. He will be deeply missed and never forgotten. The memories we all shared will be cherished forever.
Dennis is survived by his: mother, Carmen Friesen; brothers Dewayne and Dale Friesen; children, Chris (Tiffany Bishop) Friesen, Dustin Friesen, Derek (Amanda) Friesen, Jason (Stephanie Bryant) Friesen of Hutchinson, and Kaytie Friesen of Lewiston, Idaho; step-children, Kensley Pizzuto of Hutchinson and Connor Lane of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Devon Friesen(Beth), Brooklyn Bodine(Treston), Christopher Friesen Jr, Brody Friesen, Zack Martinez, Greyson Friesen, Justina Friesen, Samuel (Tabitha) Friesen, Preston Bryant, Seger Atteberry; great-grandchildren, Henry Friesen and Eleanor Friesen; and nephew Eric (LaDonna) Friesen.
He was preceded in death by his Father Milton Friesen; grandparents Ethel and Wilber Talbott; and ex-wife Monica Friesen.
Cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. When announced, everyone who Dennis touched their life is encouraged to attend and share stories with the family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Hutchinson Animal Shelter in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main St, Hutchinson, KS, 67501.
