Dennis Getsy Obituary
Born on July 20th, 1945, in Rankin, he was the beloved son of the late John Getsy and the late Mary (Lario) Getsy.
Dennis was a devoted husband and a remarkable father who deeply cared for his wife Wanda (Murphy) Getsy. As a father he built strong, loving relationships with his children Sheryl (Alfred) D'Angelo, Elaine (Robert) Longo and David Getsy. His biggest joy was spending time with his family. As a grandfather, he took immense pride in his 4 grandchildren Anthony, Andrew, Justin and Sarah. He offered helpful advice, steady guidance, unconditional support, and a sense of unity that will continue in his family to honor his absence.
Friends are welcome on Monday from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Turtle Creek / Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave., Turtle Creek, 412-823-9350.
Mass of Catholic Burial in St. Bernadette Church, Monroeville (Christ the Divine Shepherd Parish) on Monday at 12 noon.
Dennis will be laid to rest in Braddock Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Christ the Divine Shepherd Parish, 245 Azalea Dr., Monroeville, PA 15146
