Richard Clark Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by House of Law, Inc. Funeral Home and Cremation Services - Monroeville on Feb. 13, 2026.
Richard Clark was born on November 23, 1941, in McRoberts, Kentucky, to the late William A. Clark Jr. and Hattie Mae Roseman. He was the eldest of nine siblings and carried that role with strength, leadership, and love throughout his life.

He attended Penn Hills High School and, after graduation, met his first wife, Dorothy M. Leekins. From this union, four children were born. In 1960, Richard proudly enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, serving his country honorably until 1964. During his time in service, he earned a Certificate in Culinary Service.

Following his military service, Richard worked at the University of Pittsburgh as a specimen courier for eight years. In March of 1972, he began his career with the Port Authority as a Bus Operator, where he faithfully served the community until his retirement in 1998. Even after retirement, he remained active, taking on various jobs over the years.

Richard later married Jennifer Harbour, and through this union gained a son and a stepdaughter.

He was an avid fisherman and hunter, but bowling was truly his passion. As a proud member of the Pinsetters, a travelling bowling league, Richard was well known for his big, flashy right hook on the lanes. One of his proudest achievements was teaching his son, Loren, how to bowl a perfect 300 game. Beyond his hobbies, he cherished spending time with his grandchildren - riding the bus, fishing, and attending WWE events - creating memories they will forever treasure.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, William A. Clark Jr. and Hattie Mae Roseman; his wives, Jennifer Clark and Dorothy Clark Gorman; and his brothers, Louis Clark and Curtis Tolliver.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory his children: Dana Lucas, Richard Clark Jr., Kelly Allen (Brian), Michelle Clark, Michella Bulls Nichols (Laevon), Loren C. Clark, and Tiffany Russell; his siblings William A. Clark III, Ivan Tolliver, Carl Clark, Lynn Clark, Ernest Clark, and Earl Clark; his stepmother, Ethel Clark; 22 grandchildren; 26 greatgrandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Richard's legacy lives on through the love he gave, the lessons he taught, and the memories he created with everyone blessed to know him.
