Dennis Ging Obituary
Age 64 of Plum, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025. Beloved husband of Sandy Ging. Loving father of Sean (Shannon) Ging and Shane (Megan Sulava) Ging. He is also survived by his sister, Darlene (Mark) Sesto and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Patrick J. Ging, Jr. and Shirley Mae (Denny) Ging.
Dennis grew up in Monroeville and graduated from Gateway High School in 1979. He later settled in Plum, where he and his wife, Sandy, raised their family. He worked as an electrician for more than 30 years and was a proud member of IBEW Local #5. Dennis was known for his larger-than-life personality and for the joy he brought to those around him. An avid golfer, he spent four decades playing in his Friday night league, where he built lasting friendships. He was a devoted husband and a proud father, always placing his family and the care of others at the center of his life.
Family and friends will be received Friday, August 22, 2025 from 2-4pm & 6-8pm and Saturday, August, 23, 2025 from 10am until the time of the funeral service at 11 am at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. (MONROEVILLE/PLUM CHAPEL) 445 Beatty Road, Monroeville (412-856-4747). Online condolences may be left at www.jobefuneralhome.com.

RIP Dennis. Way too young to leave us. Thanks for always making us laugh and appreciate how much fun we had at every Tailgate!! We knew you were not far away from us as we could hear you coming 3 blocks away!! Lot 7C Red will be a little dimmer but your spirit will live in all of us! We shall toast you this season.

We are so very sorry to hear of Dennis's passing. He will be missed by so many! He was the life of the party anywhere he went! He infectious laugh will never be forgotten. We will always remember Dennis at our Steeler tailgate parties firing everyone up! RIP my friend, you will forever be missed.
