Dennis "Denny" Hall died on December 26, 2025, with family by his side. He was born in Saginaw, Michigan, on June 14, 1946, to Elmer Hall and Alice (Teplinski) Hall. After graduating from Northwood University, Denny went to work for the IRS and later opened his own accounting office. He enjoyed Westerns, being right about everything, old movies, falling asleep in front of the TV (he swears he was just resting his eyes) and sports of all kinds. He met his wife, Janna Hall, through umpiring and playing slow pitch softball and years later enjoyed cheering on his son, Cameron's little league career.
Denny was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Alice Hall, his brother, Michael Hall, and his daughter, Stephanie (Kohrumel) Noragon. He is survived by his wife, Janna (Warner) Hall, his children, Cameron (Carlie) Hall, Josh (Mary) Kohrumel, Lauren (Greg McKenna) Kohrumel, his grandchildren, Bailey Noragon, Julian Kohrumel, Hilary Kohrumel, Ryan Hall, and Dawson Hall, his sister, Sharon Varner and his adorable puppies, Milo and Hazel.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at the Ware Smith Woolever Funeral Home, 1200 W. Wheeler St., Midland. Family will greet guests from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, January 2, 2026, and from 10 a.m. until the start of the funeral on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that you make a donation to the Children's Grief Center Great Lakes Bay Region or the American Diabetes Association, www.diabetes.org (and remember to save the receipt for the donation for your tax preparer).
