Dennis was born on May 20, 1965, in Centerville, Iowa, the son of Ernest Sr. and Mary (Ballanger) Henderson. He attended schools at Centerville School District before moving to Greentop, Missouri and attending Schuyler County Schools.
In his free time, Dennis enjoyed hunting and playing cards. He loved living on a farm with his goats and spending time with his significant other, Mary.
Dennis is survived by his sister, Teresa (Brian) Walker; brothers, Mike (Tanya) Henderson, and Mark (Heidi) Henderson, and numerous extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Howard Macomber; brother, Ernest Henderson Jr., and a sister Mary "Sissy" Abbott.
Graveside services are planned for Friday, September 19, 2025 at 2:30PM at Exline Cemetery in Exline, Iowa. Memorials in honor of Dennis can be made to the family to determine at a later date and mailed to Thomas Funeral Home Attn: Dennis Henderson Family 501 N. 18th Street, Centerville, Iowa 52544.
