Dennis "Denny" Otto Hoelzer
Dennis Otto Hoelzer, 80, of Falcon, Colorado, a loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on January 14, 2024.
He was born on October 25, 1943 in Mendota, Illinois to Edward Conrad Hoelzer and Hilda Ida Winter Hoelzer.
Denny enjoyed his sons, stepsons, granddaughters, grandson, Norwegian elkhounds, music, horses, Harley Davidson motorcycles, hunting, hiking, cars, cross country skiing, politics, and cooking.
Denny is survived by his wife, Judy Gish Daugherty Hoelzer; son, Dennis Edward (Tammy) Hoelzer; stepsons, Paul Dean (Krystal) Daugherty, and James Dale (Mary Dee) Daugherty; granddaughters, Jesi Christine Hoelzer, Kylie Rae Hoelzer, and Audra Leigh Hoelzer Tatum; great-grandson, Connor Ray Tatum; grandson, Daniel Perry Hoelzer; sister, Marian Hoelzer Neal; sister-in-law, Mary Lou Hoelzer; and niece, Karen Williams Evans.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Conrad Hoelzer; mother, Hilda Ida Winter Hoelzer; son, Donald Perry Hoelzer; sister; Violet Hoelzer Williams; and brothers, Milton "Swede" Hoelzer, Mayward Hoelzer, and Kenneth Hoelzer.
