Dennis was well-known as a jokester, always quick-witted and full of humor. He often entertained others under the playful aliases of "Harvey Schmotski' and 'Fr. Denny". He was a huge Notre Dame and New York Yankee fan but most of all he loved his grandchildren.
He is survived by his son, Steve Kopinski; daughters, Karen (Greg) Lake and Kendra (Stan) Harper; grandchildren, Melaina Kopinski, TJ, Gunnar and Trey Lake, Tony (Paola) and Marcus and Rylee Harper.
Dennis was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 46 years, Marlene (Billy) Kopinski in 2011 and his parents. "Take the rest of the day off, with pay" – Denny
Visitation will be Saturday, October 25, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. in the Urbanski's Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave. Temperance, MI. Burial will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
