Dennis John Kristin, age 82, of Beaverton, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. He was born on May 11, 1942, the son of John and Anna (Pjontak) Kristin, in Owosso, MI. Dennis was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was employed as a postal carrier for 26 years until his retirement.
On July 29, 1977, Dennis married the love of his life, Janice Hodges, in Owosso, MI. Together, they shared 47 years of love and cherished memories. Dennis had a passion for hunting and learning about military history. He also enjoyed listening to gospel music quartets.
He is survived by his beloved wife: Janice; children: Tina (Phil) Lewin of Wales, Kraig (Kristina) Kristin, and Karisa (Eric) Ritter; grandchildren: Zander and Violet Ritter; nephew: Kevin Courter and his children; great-niece: Kelly Fowler; along with many cherished brother and sister-in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents: John and Anna; siblings: Kevin James Kristin and Diane Courter; niece: Christin Fowler and her husband Greg; nephew: Brian Courter; along with numerous cherished in-laws.
Funeral services will take place on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 12:00 noon at the Beaverton Church of the Nazarene. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home. www.hallkokotovichfuneralhome.com
