Dennis G. Lentz, 65, of Denver, PA, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024, at the Hershey Medical Center.
Born in Lebanon on March 26, 1958, he was the son of the late Ervin R. Lentz and Ruth M. (Miller) Mack. Dennis enjoyed listening to music and watching MeTV. Some of his favorites were: Alice Cooper, Hank Williams, Sr., and The Three Stooges. He was proud of his 20+ year sobriety, as well as his service in the Marine Corp. His last years were spent at Faithful Living, a personal care community. He developed relationships with other residents and staff. Dennis created a "job" for himself by composing stories, poems, and drawing artwork for his friends, family, and care staff. He was faithful in doing this and was hard on himself when he felt he was behind. He was known for keeping his room neat and tidy.
Dennis is survived by his sister Shirley M. wife of James Kennedy, Jr., of Annville, brother Terry M. Mack, Sr., of Lebanon, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his stepfather Virgil W. Mack and his brother Gerald L. Lentz.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 12, 2024, at Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment with military honors will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
