Dennis William MacNeill

Dennis W. MacNeill passed away at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township, Michigan on September 16, 2025 at the age of 86. Dennis was born in Detroit on December 30, 1938 to Wallace and Jeanette MacNeill. Dennis very proudly served his country in the United States Army enlisting in January of 1961. While in the service Dennis obtained proficiency on the rifle and pistol range attaining medals for marksmanship with both his rifle and pistol. In addition Dennis was also honored with medals for sharpshooting with the Browning Automatic Rifle and 2nd class gunner status with the light machine gun. Dennis was discharged from active service in October of 1962 and then finished up his commitment to the army in the United States Army Reserves. He is the beloved husband of the late Priscilla. Loving father of Lisa (Raymond) Lusk, Craig MacNeill, and the late Doreen (Chuck) Manoloff-MacNiell. Dearest brother of Gail (Ernie) Latter. Visitation Tuesday 2-8 PM with military honors at 6:00 PM at the Wasik Funeral Home, Inc. 49150 Schoenherr Rd. (n. of 22 Mile Rd.), Shelby Twp. Dennis will be laid to rest with his wife Priscilla at Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date.
