It is with a profoundly sadden heart that I must let you know LCpl Dennis McNemar departed for Valhalla last Friday, February 13, 2026. Mac was the very first volunteer at Support the Troops. For the last 16 years, every Tuesday and Thursday at 07:00, he would show up in his camo shorts and help pack over 50,000 care packages. Mac passed after a brief illness. After 30 years of dedicate service he retired from Ford Motor Company. He joins his son, Sgt Paul McNamar along with his mom and dad. 82 trips around the sun. He leaves a legacy of 3 amazing children and 17 grandchildren. His rock of 62 years, Teresa and daughter, Michelle and son, Dennis were by his side. A mass will take place at St Joseph Catholic Church, 38610 5TH Ave, Zephyrhills, Fl 33542 on Friday, March 6, 2026, at 11 am. He will be laid to rest at American Legion Post 108 2911 5th Ave NE Lutz, FL 33549.
