In the only way he ever could, he leaves us almost speechless again. To many he was everything he needed to be and everything he wasn´t suppose to be all at the same time.
Our family has joked for years that Dennis was the only man alive that had lives like a cat. He was a fighter in ever since of the word. I guess that´s what makes this so hard. He was one of the people that regardless of what you heard or the last conversation you had you knew you could call if you needed help. He was the greatest at long conversations about anything and everything. He didn´t really care that the world was changing because he wasn´t going to but he was always proud of me for wanting to be apart of it. He believed in bigger and better things but never dwelled to much in the moments where the better wasn´t happening. He loved... like only the grumpiest and toughest guy could. To put his personality into words I would have to use the word charisma. I don´t know that he actually ever had any but he made you believe he did.
I personally will miss his laugh.
I know He will be missed for so much but the smell of a deep fried Turkey, smoked meat, or homemade meal should always remind you of him as his favorite place to call home was always the kitchen.
The memories that people leave only last for as long as we do so I ask each of you to never forget the man who lived nine busting at the seams lives of laughter and love long live my Uncle Bo.
