Dennis David Nameth, age 77, passed away on November 16, 2023. Dennis was born on September 18, 1946 in South Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He lives on through his wife Diane Marie Nameth (nee Christiansen), his children Katie (Gary) Swanson, Heather (Wade) Bren, Eric (Elizabeth) Nameth, Janell (Rich) Wise, Jon Nameth, and Mike (Teri) Nameth. His legacy will also carry on through his grandchildren McCoy, Sophie, Alivia, Hazel, Redek, Laila, Jack, Nolan, Charles, Ellorie, Walton and another grandchild who is expected in May. He is also survived by three brothers, Frank (Kim), Al, and Dave (Elizabeth), and many nieces and nephews.
Dennis spent years employed as a master mason and was a "jack of all trades." He enjoyed the challenge of working through design issues to find unique solutions for projects or to bring a piece of equipment to life again. He also loved to spin yarns, tell jokes, pull pranks, and listen to the music of his favorite storytellers, Neil Diamond and Bob Seger, and if there was a long way home, that was the one he took. He was preceded in death by his parents, Catherine "Kitty" Mary (nee Izzo) and Frank Joseph Nameth, and looked forward to reuniting with his daughter Denise Julia who he has missed since December 26, 1970.
Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 1st, at Racine Bible Church, Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin. Visitation will be from 10:30 am, until services begin at 11:30 am.
Lunch will be served in the church reception area following the service.
