Funeral Services for Phillip Joseph "Joe" Nameth, age 52, of Carriere, MS, who passed away Sunday, June 9, 2024, will be held Friday, June 14, 2024, at 10:00 am at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation will be Friday, June 14, 2024 from 9:00 am until 10:00 am at McDonald Funeral Home.
Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Bro. Braque Cutrer will officiate the service.
A native of Picayune, MS, Phillip Joseph Nameth was born September 11 1971. "Joe" could always be counted on to be the life of the party, make others laugh and smile even when they didn't want to and to be a loyal friend to those he loved. He was an avid sports fan, and his hobbies included founding outlaw MMA martial arts club, coaching little league football and baseball, and often cheering on or griping about the Saints during football season. Joe coached Little League Baseball and Peewee Football, where he impacted many children's lifes, and left an impression they will always remember. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Joycielyn Gaberiella Nameth.
Left to cherish his memory are his father, Phillip Louis Nameth: his daughter, Angelina Nameth: his grandchildren, Sutton Nameth and Annabelle Gower; his brother, Mark (Monica) Nameth; aunts and uncles, Susie (Richie)Ladner, J.L. Asher; nieces and nephews, Hailee (Donnie) Burnette, Hayden Nameth, Katie (Ross) Savoie, Moose (Karlee) Rutledge, and Tyler Rutledge; great niece, Adalynn Burnette; and his cousins, Lelia (Scott) McCloud, Tink (Lori) McQueen, Mike Asher, Tiffany Blaser, Aundreae Mason, and Scott (Robin) Nameth.
