Dennis R. Paulson, 93, of Fargo, ND passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2023, at Bethany on University, Fargo, ND.
Dennis was born on July 31, 1930, in Bagley, MN to Bennie and Martha (Langseth) Paulson. He attended rural school in Clearwater County, MN before joining the US Air Force in 1951. He was stationed at the Upper Hayford Air Force Base in England where he met and married Jean B. (Turner) Paulson on February 6th, 1954. Upon his discharge from the Air Force in 1954 they moved to East Grand Forks, MN where they lived for 6 years. They moved to Fisher, MN in 1960 where they lived for 13 years before moving to various homes in the Detroit Lakes, MN area. In 2008 they moved to Dilworth, MN and in 2016 to Eventide Fargo.
After his discharge and move he spent many years in the electrical trade where he worked for several companies. His work took him to various places in the United States, as well as jobs in Canada, Germany and Thule Greenland. He also used his work experience to teach a class for people who were joining the electrical field. Dennis was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing as well as gardening with his wife Jean.
Dennis is survived by his son, Faron (Donna) Paulson; brother, Larry (Mary); sister-in-law, Sandra (Gordon) Paulson; grandsons, Ryan (Joan), Christopher (Marissa) and Jonathan (Lydia); 8 great grandchildren, Dominic, Kendra, Parker, Grayson, Chloe, Carter, Bennett, Charles; and 1 great great grandchild, Dakota. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Gordon, and sisters Ardell, Dagney and Doris.
Memorial services are going to be held at Seljord Church, Clearbrook MN. Time and date to be determined.
