Dennis Clayton Pince, age 69 of Dennison passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 13, 2011. Dennis was born on March 31, 1942 in St. Paul, the son of Stanley and Ella (Brandle) Pince. He graduated from Humble High School before serving in the United States Marine Corp. Dennis married Dorothy Perkins on February 20, 1960 in Wells. He worked at Waterous maintaining machines from 1965 until his retirement in 2007. Dennis was a lifelong member of Vang Lutheran Church in Kenyon. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially fishing. He also liked playing the slot machines. Dennis was known as a "Jack of all trades" who would do anything for his family. He could always be counted on to have a hug ready for his kids and grandkids. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Dorothy; children, Amber West of Waseca, Wynn (Roy Street) McConnell of Hampton, IA, Aledia (Mark) Karow of Faribault, Ravenna (Troy) Gentry of Cannon Falls and Wade Pince of Cannon Falls; grandchildren, Derek, Ryan and Adam West, Richard and Nicholas McConnell, Joshua, Jacob and Jenna Karow, Tyler, Cody, Courtney and Brittany Gentry, and Justin, Jillian and Jonah Pince; one great-granddaughter, Hannah and one future great-granddaughter; brother, Rodney Pince of Pine River; sisters, Everetta "Jane" Hickok of Red Wing and Beverly "Bev" (Dave) Nehring of West St. Paul; and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and father-in-law, Lewis Perkins.
