Dennis J. Rafaj

Dennis John Rafaj, born January 11, 1949, in Chicago Heights, Illinois, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, September 13, 2024, with his loved ones by his side. He was 75 years old.
Dennis is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Nancy Rafaj, nee Klein; his children Dennis (Lori), Christopher (Erin), and Alicija Rafaj; and his cherished grandchildren, Nolan and Eleanor. He is also lovingly remembered by his siblings, Shirley Nussbaum and Jack (Jeanne) Rafaj.
Dennis had a lifelong love of fishing and in his younger years could often be seen riding his '74 Norton motorcycle. A proud and passionate Chicago White Sox fan, Dennis also had a soft spot for Mountain Dew and M&M's. Professionally, Dennis built a respected career as a CPA and small business owner, dedicating over 40 years to his work.
His family and friends will forever remember his warmth, dedication, and the joy he found in both his passions and loved ones.
