Dennis J. Rhynard

RHYNARD, Dennis – of Millington, age 72, died Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at his residence. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place and no services will be held at this time. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Veterans Association.
Dennis was born April 14, 1950, in Hastings, Michigan, to the late Dean and Margaret (Swantner) Rhynard. He attended Grand Blanc High School and worked for General Motors on the assembly line for almost 20 years. Dennis proudly served in the United States Army for three years during the Vietnam War and was a member of the Bethel Chapel Assembly of God in Millington. On December 17, 1983, Dennis married Madeline Dean and together they shared 36 years of marriage. Madeline preceded Dennis in death in June 2020. Dennis enjoyed hunting and fishing and liked to keep his hands busy with fabrication and engineering. He loved to spend time with his family and was known to be a very giving man who would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. Above all, Dennis was a wonderful husband, father, uncle, and friend who will be deeply missed by those who knew him.
Dennis is forever loved by his daughter, Crystal (Craig) Pillen-Berryman; Grandchildren: Aqua "Kasie" (Zephyn Allan) Singer and Sawyer (Jamie Crandell) Pillen; Sisters: Monna and Ruth; Niece and Nephew: Mary (Gary) Johnson, Jimmy (Tina) Rhynard, Tim McCarthy, and Kelly McCarthy; Beloved friend, LaVern Shrock. Dennis was preceded in death by his loving wife, Madeline Rhynard; Parents, Dean and Margaret; Siblings: Eugene Rhynard, Albert Cruickshank, Jean McCarthy, and Joe Swantner; Stepmother, Edna Cruickshank.
