Dennis Schachner Obituary
Denny was an avid golfer and was blessed to live amongst many special friends in a golf community in Estero, Florida. He not only excelled on the golf course, but he also loved everything outdoors, including sailing, fishing, and biking.
Denny is survived by his loving wife Joy. He has three sons, Rick, Dave and Bob and seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was a very special and loved Great Uncle Denny to Sarah, Jane and Noah.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 12, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Light Catholic Community, 19680 Cypress View Drive in Estero. Additionally, there will be a Celebration of Life for Dennis at the Grandezza Country Club on Tuesday April 30, 2024 at 3pm.

Dear Joy,
We were deeply saddened to hear about Denny's passing. His energy and passion for life were truly inspiring, and we will cherish the memories of our time together, especially the fishing trips with Kevin at Green Lake. We are grateful to have had the chance to see both of you recently.

Playing golf with him and introducing him to fried pickles at a local restaurant. He loved them.
I'm sorry I will not make the church service since I'm having an operation on 4/10 but I'll do everything I can to make the service at our Club Grandezza. Where will the service at the club
I'm so sorry. He was a great guy. He had a long life, loved his family, and his friends at Grandezza. We'll miss him in our golf group. PEACE. Bob Murphy
