Dennis P. Schneider Sr. 78 of Coventry, passed away peacefully after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s on December 6, 2024. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Louise Schneider and brother, Frank Schneider. He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Catherine Schneider; beloved son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Annmarie Schneider; beloved daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and John Gedde; 4 priceless granddaughters, Kayla, Emily, Krista, Erika; many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and nieces & nephews; and his precious & adored cats, Max and Shiloh.Dennis was born in Brooklyn and eventually moved to Bethpage where he raised his family. He retired from the NYC Transit MABSTOA. He moved to Coventry twenty years ago which was a home away from home for his family.
