Dennis Wade Scott

Dennis Wade Scott, 67, of Hinesville, Georgia, was born January 1, 1959, in Boynton Beach, Florida to the late Joe Scott and Arlean Scott Mapson. He later moved to Westhampton, New York. Upon graduating from Westhampton Beach High School, Dennis enlisted into the United States Air Force for 4 years and enlisted in the United States Army for 21 years. Dennis was a proud veteran demonstrating his lifelong commitment to serve.

On January 31, 2026, Dennis transitioned to his place of rest, leaving behind a legacy of strength, dedication and love.

Dennis enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends.

He is lovingly remembered by his soulmate of 25 years Gabriele Morman, Hinesville, GA; sister Shirvantes (Bobby) Revels, Ellenwood, GA; brothers Kerry Scott, Seattle, Washington; John Scott, Paris, France; Gerald Anderson, Panama Beach, FL.

Even though Dennis had no biological children, he loved his two bonus daughters Jennifer Greger, Houma, Louisiana, and Natascha Greger, Hinesville, GA; and four bonus grandchildren.

His heart melted for Jhylan Greger, Hinesville, GA; whom he loved as his grandson; a special cousin Erma Benjamin, Moncks Corner, South Carolina; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Dennis' memory will remain in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those who were honored to have had the privilege of knowing him.
