Anna K. Scott

Anna K. Scott, 78, of Rossville, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Milner Health and Retirement. She was born on April 14, 1947, in Kokomo to Harry and Firma (Tarr) Lanning. She married Marvin Scott on April 11, 1970, and he survives.

Anna worked for Essex Wires for years, Red Lobster, and finally Abilities Services, Inc. She enjoyed going to the library to pick out books to read. She loved listening to music, especially Elvis Presley and Bobby Vinton, and you could often find her dancing to music or going to dances. She had a love for desserts, especially Oreos and Pepsi. Anna's spunky attitude and personality will be missed by those that knew her.

Along with her husband of 55 years, Anna is survived by her brother, Phil (Linda) Lanning; sister, Mary (Ray) Dunaway; brother-in-law Dick (Cathy) Scott; sister-in-law, Bonnie Wade; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; seven brothers-in-law; and two sisters-in-law.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 16, 2026, from 10:30am until the time of the service at 11:30am at Day & Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort. A private burial will be held later at Sunset Memory Gardens in Kokomo. Messages of condolence may be left at www.dayandgenda.com.
