Dennis E. Tetreault

Dennis E. Tetreault, 70, of Mendon MA, passed away on Sunday May 29, 2022 due to a motorcycle accident. He was the husband of Diane E. (Chicoine) Tetreault for 44 beautiful years.
Dennis was born in Woonsocket in 1951, the eldest son of the late Aldore E. and Pauline A. (Leclaire) Tetreault of Mendon. Following graduation from Nipmuc Regional High School, he earned a secondary certificate as an automotive machinist at Blackstone Valley Tech (1969-1970). Dennis continued on in his multi-generational family business, A.Tetreault and Sons, Inc. A man of integrity, he took great pride in his business and loved working with his father, sons and grandsons.
A lifelong resident of Mendon, Dennis was dedicated to Jesus, family and friends. He was active with his church and the local community, having served on the Parks Department for many years. He was involved in scouting, having seen many eagles advance under his leadership. Dennis enjoyed helping build the local town baseball field and was always ready and willing to lend a helping hand. Additionally, Dennis was an avid motocross fan and friend to all. Genuine, compassionate and caring, he loved to make people smile. His kindness and laughter will be deeply missed by those who were blessed to have known him.
Family meant everything to Dennis. He enjoyed traveling adventures and family trips - anywhere he could spend time making memories (as long as there was a motocross race nearby). Whether playing cards, splitting wood, working in the garden, hosting Super Bowl parties or taking a ride for ice cream, Dennis enjoyed nothing more than spending time with family and friends. He was the best "Pep" any grandchild could ask for - his wife, children and grandchildren were the light of his life.
In addition to his wife, Diane, he is survived by his children Jason E. and his wife Jovanna Tetreault of Uxbridge, Joel E. and his wife Adrienne Tetreault of Roswell, GA and Jody M. and her husband David Kurczy of Mendon; seven grandchildren Noah, Elijah, Caleb, Natalie, Maren, Brayden and Ella; his siblings Alan and his wife Phyllis Tetreault, Susan and her husband Richard Tetreault, Michael and his wife Renee Tetreault of Mendon, and Lionel Tetreault and Michael Eaton of North Conway, NH and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Saturday, June 4, 2022 from 8:30-10:30 AM at Lifesong Church, 65 Gilmore Drive, Sutton, MA. A funeral service will be held in the sanctuary at 10:30 AM and a reception will immediately follow.
Burial will be private.
