Dennis Jose Vasquez

Dennis J. Vasquez, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. He was born on May 5, 1942, in Nicaragua and came to San Francisco in the 1960s to begin a new chapter of his life.

On March 15, 1969, Dennis married the love of his life, Anna C. Go'Chez, at Saint Anthony Church in San Francisco. Together, they built a beautiful life and shared 56 years of marriage filled with devotion, laughter, and enduring love.

Dennis was a proud and caring father to his three children: Dennis L. Vasquez (56), Alex Vasquez (53), and Lydia I. Vasquez (52). He was a steady source of love and guidance to them, and a dedicated partner to his wife Anna. He was also a loving grandfather to his cherished grandchildren, who brought him immense joy. His love extended beyond his immediate family, touching the lives of his brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and extended relatives both near and far.

A lifelong soccer enthusiast, Dennis loved the game and played throughout his entire life. He also dedicated many years of service to the Amador School District in Pleasanton, California, before retiring. Beyond his work and his passion for soccer, Dennis found joy in gathering with family, spending time with friends, and sharing warmth and kindness with his neighbors.

Dennis's legacy is one of love, community, and family devotion. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
