Deno Joseph Castellano passed on Friday, March 27, 2026. He was the beloved husband, best friend, and life partner of Valerie Schmid Castellano, and the dedicated and loving father of their beautiful children, Deno Jr. and Aribella Castellano. His family adored him and will always feel blessed to have had him in their lives. Deno was an avid nature enthusiast who loved hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors. Some of his fondest memories were of his grandfather and uncle teaching him to hunt and fish at his childhood camp. Throughout high school and college he was a highly accomplished athlete, holding several records in wrestling, football, weight lifting and swimming. Deno was known for his tremendous strength yet kind and gentle spirit. He worked as an accomplished IT professional, but his true passion was always centered around his family, who he loved taking care of, cooking for and being with more than anything (traveling, playing cards and board games, watching movies...). In addition to being deeply missed by his wife and children, who will keep him in their hearts until their souls meet again in heaven, he will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and loving friends who were like brothers to him.
