Denver Lee Sias, Jr., 80, of Kenova, WV, passed away Wednesday morning, May 21, 2025, peacefully at home. Funeral services will be conducted at Reger Funeral Home at 1135 C Street, Ceredo, WV 25507, on Saturday, May 24th at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Keith Watters officiating. Entombment will follow in Docks Creek Cemetery, Kenova. He was born July 2, 1944, in Meador, WV, a son of the late Denver Lee Sias, Sr. and Melda Kennedy. He worked as a former Chemical Operator for most of his life for the DuPont Company in New Jersey. He was a member of Christ Temple Church where he served as an Usher for several years until he became caretaker for his wife, Martha, who preceded him in death in October, 2024.
Denver’s family was important to him. He was a wonderful father and provider. He liked to grow a yearly vegetable garden and keep a manicured lawn. Denver read the Bible daily and was fond of working puzzles. He always looked forward to Sunday brunch and trying new restaurants.
In addition to his parents and wife, Martha, Denver was preceded in death by an infant daughter Lenora Sias, brother Walter Sias, and sister Helen Sias. Survivors include his children Denver C. and Jelena Sias, Mary E. and Jeff Marcum, and Christopher L. and Denise Sias; grandchildren Tyler C. Kipp, Amanda M. Sias, Denver L. Sias, Alexander C. Sias, Ryan M. Sias, Tiffany Childers & Heather Wideman; great-grandchildren Baby McDermott who will make his arrival soon, Zeke Jones, Devin Childers, Malachi Childers, Sahnia Linton, Kayden Conway, Zaelan Wideman and Paxton Wideman; brothers Dennis Sias and Bennie Sias, and a host of nieces and nephews.
