After a football game! We went to waffle house in a group and ate so much food. I gave him a ride home and he said my car was a space ship lol

Deon was an amazing friend and teammate. He was always proud of his friends accomplishments and the hardest worker on the court. He was a very talented athlete and basketball player. He cared for people and it really is true that what you remember about a person is how they make you feel . I am heartbroken. A life taken too soon. Just last Thursday I had the best conversation with him about future plans. He was always at Henry Clay, and so very beloved by the community. Basketball will not feel the same without him as he brought so much. We will miss you, Deon. May you rest in peace and I can´t wait for a hug when we meet again.
