Deon Desean Davis

On Friday May 17th, 2024 Deon Desean Davis was called home at the precious age of 16. Deon was preceded by his grandmother Enda Davis and he leaves behind his mother, Romeka L. Davis, Father, Cordarius Davis, Brother, Dior Davis, Sister, Deanna Love. Two Grandmothers, Delbra Crowder, Diangla Davis-Bell. A host of Aunts(4), Uncles (8), Cousins. A special someone (Amina), teammates and a host of friends. Deon was everyone's best friend. He was a loving son and brother. Deon was going to change the world. He was one of the most ambitious and funny young souls you could ever be around. Simply put, he was a true spark of life. As a passionate athlete of Henry Clay High School, he embodied the true definition of what it means to be a blue devil. He never met a stranger and was always willing to go above and beyond to help everyone and anyone. He cared about people and wanted to make sure everyone felt as though they were special. Deon shined like the sun and this tragic loss has covered our hearts with a dark cloud. As we remember his smile, it will be enough to carry us through and brighten the days ahead. He truly will be missed and we're forever grateful for the course he ran with us while on this earth. Funeral services will be held at 10AM Saturday, May 25th, 2024, at Centenary Church, 2800 Tates Creek Rd, Lexington, KY 40502. Visitation will be from 4-8PM Friday evening at the church. Arrangements are being handled by Kerr Brothers Funeral Home – Harrodsburg Road.
