William D. Bach

William D. "Bill" Bach, age 76, a native Lexingtonian, passed away on Friday, January 19,

2026, after a short illness.

Born on March 13, 1949 in Lexington, Kentucky, he was the son of A.A. Bach and Joyce Bach.

Bill grew up on the Bach Farm in Lexington, a place that remained an important part of his roots

and identity throughout his life.

He graduated from Henry Clay High School and went on to attend Transylvania University,

where he played baseball and was a proud member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. Bill later

pursued his lifelong calling in law, earning his Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama

School of Law.

Bill enjoyed a successful, decades-long legal career in Lexington, forming Bach & Savage,

where he practiced alongside his law partner and dear friend, Bill Savage. He remained an active

and respected member of the Kentucky Bar Association throughout his career.

Bill was a member of Meadowthorpe Presbyterian Church. He was a devoted son and treasured

many friends and family over the years, especially his dear friend Phillip Angelucci.

Bill leaves behind to cherish his memory, the love of his life, Sheril. They were blessed to share

a truly special bond of love and commitment, as well as their spoiled and beloved cat, Spike.
