Terri Gail Eades

Terri Gail Bussell Eades, age 78, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2026, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was born on April 24, 1947, in Lexington, Kentucky, to the late Clarence and Virginia Bussell.

Terri retired from the Commonwealth of Kentucky after many years of dedicated service. She was an avid boater who loved to travel-especially by boat-and cherished the more than thirty years she spent living at her home on the Kentucky River. Above all else, Terri deeply loved her family.

She is survived by her sons, Thomas L. Eades (Heidi) and Kevin M. Eades (Patty); her grandchildren, Laurisa York (Jeremy), Brice Eades (Lauren), Sean Eades, and Daniel Eades; her great-grandchildren, Bradyn Manners, Breckenridge Manners, and Virginia-Mae Eades; and her brother, Glen Bussell (Lois).

In addition to her parents, Terri was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Melvin Lee "Dude" Eades.

A graveside service honoring Terri's life will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, February 13, 2026, at The Lexington Cemetery, 833 West Main Street, Lexington, Kentucky, 40508. Family and friends are invited to a time of visitation from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, 463 East Main Street, Lexington, Kentucky, 40507, prior to the service.
