Deondo (Dino) Dushawn Russell, 53, was born in Topeka, KS March 3, 1972. He passed away at Overland Park Regional Medical Center in Overland Park, KS.

He is survived by his four children, Tanshanikqua Russell of Topeka, KS, her mother Valarie Brown of Oklahoma, Deonce Russell, Kieshawn Russell, and Savanah Russell of Texas with their mother Cynthia Goode, ex-wife. As of June 2, Kieshawn made Dino a grandfather to a beautiful baby girl named Kahlilah Nylee Russell. Other survivors include: father and step-mother, George and Brenda Russell of Kansas City, KS; grandmother, Ellen Benson of Colorado; mother, Teresa Brown of Topeka, KS; grandmother, Pearl Hamilton of Georgia; four siblings, Gavin (Sharita) Russell of Maryland; Tyya Russell, Ahmara Russell, and Tirzatha Russell all of Topeka, KS. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Dino was loved by many. He was compassionate and would do anything for anybody. He was very proactive of the downtrodden. Dino enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed fishing, cooking and eating, music and dancing. He loved to dress and smell good!

RIP Dino. We are looking forward to the day when our appointed Leader and King Jesus Christ will say, like he did with Lazarus, "Dino come out!" A total and complete family reunion awaits you. Praise Jehovah!

A celebration of his life will held on Saturday, August 16, 2025 from 3:00pm-8:00pm at the Foundry Event Center, 400 SW 33rd St. Topeka, KS.
