Derek Meide Obituary
Derek Meide, 35, of Staples, passed away peacefully at his home. A gathering of friends and family will be held at 1pm on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Staples, MN. Service will begin at 2pm.
Derek was born June 22, 1987, in Staples to David Meide and Diane Miller. He attended Staples High School and worked at UPS for several years. Derek loved to fish, play golf, frisbee golf, computers, playing guitar, drawing, and reading.
Derek is survived by his parents, David (Jean) Meide, Diane Miller; brother, Alex Jares; sister, Sabrina Lenk (James); niece, McKenzie Fletcher; and step siblings. He is preceded in death by grandparents; Jay and Billie Miller, Calvin Meide, Ruth (Denny) Wold; uncles, Craig Miller, Mark Meide; aunt, Shirley Huennekens.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Staples.
