Derrell “Wayne” Morris Sr., age 67 of Sulphur Springs, Texas passed away on October 25, 2025 at his residence.
Derrell was born on July 22, 1958 in Sulphur Springs, Texas to John Wayne and Ana Lynn Morris. He worked as a mechanic at Pro Field until his retirement.
He is survived by his sons, John Paul Morris and Derrell Wayne Morris Jr. and wife, Rhonda, and Jeremy Morris; daughter, Emily Dibrell; grandchildren, Tessa Morris, Christian Morris, Anthony Morris, Jazlyn Morris, Jace Griggs, and Jagger Humphries.
Derrell was preceded in death by his mom, Anna Lou; father, John Wayne; brothers, Richard Morris, John Wayne Morris Jr., Ronnie Morris, and Donald Morris; sister, Carla Jeam Richardson.
