Norman David Dodd

Norman David Dodd age 77 of Springfield, Missouri passed away surrounded by family May 23, 2022. He was born in Wakefield, Yorkshire, England December 22, 1944 to Norman and Florence Dodd. After meeting in England during her service in the Navy, he and Deborah were united in marriage October 23, 1983. Norman loved everything about trains, working the railroad in Britain since an early age. After retirement, he continued his research involving railroads all around the world. In 1996 he and Debbie relocated to the United States where they ran a flea market as well as many other occupations. Norman was always keeping busy doing various things.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Florence and Norman Dodd.
Norman is survived by his wife Deborah Dodd; sons: Michael, Andrew, John and Phillip Dodd, daughter, Angela Dodd; five grandchildren; one great granddaughter; other relatives and friends.
A family directed Celebration of Life is currently pending. Cremation is in the care of Holden Cremation and Funeral Service, Sparta, Missouri.
