Derrick Anthony Harris entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at the age of 27. He was a native of Gretna, LA and a resident of New Orleans, LA. Derrick was employed with Mullin Landscape as a grasscutter and landscaper. Companion of Danetria D. Harrell. Stepfather of Adrian Harrell. Son of Derrick Lemieux, Jr. and Wanda Rene Harris. Grandson of Alma Lee Harris, Connie Reed, and the late Billy Ray Harris, Derrick Anthony Lemieux, Sr. Great grandson of the late Jules, Sr. and Ida Mae Paynes, Sherman Sr. and RoseMary Lemieux. Brother of Brittany Harris (Christopher Williams, Sr., Ashley Harris (Earl Thomas, Sr.), A’Shante Harris (Carl Brown, Jr.), Zerion Beard, Derrell McDaniel, Derrick Lemieux, and the late Brandon Keith Harris. Nephew of Alicia Mitchell, LaDawn Harris, and the late Shannon Mitchell, and Junious Lemieux, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, other relatives, and friend. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Friday, May 15, 2021 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
