Derrill McIntyre Obituary
June 2, 1942 - July 24, 2025
Derrill James McIntyre, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on July 24, 2025, in Guilford County, North Carolina, at the age of 83. He was born on June 2, 1942, in Stanly County, North Carolina.
He graduated from Troy High School in 1960 and Wake Forest College in 1964. His career began in the textile industry with Collins & Aikman, taking him from Albermarle to New York and eventually Greenville, North Carolina. Derrill later pursued a career in the financial services industry, culminating in his role as a financial advisor at Ameriprise Financial in Asheboro, North Carolina, from which he retired after many years of service.
Derrill leaves behind his wife, Pamela Sells McIntyre; and his daughters, Michele Henrie (Scott) of the Seattle, WA area and Nicole Apple (Eric) of Greensboro. He was a proud grandfather to Alex, Frances, Seth, Julia, Charlotte, and Jameson.
In accordance with Derrill's wishes, the family will celebrate his life privately.
