Desiree Williams Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Daniel J. Schaefer Funeral Home - Brooklyn on Sep. 2, 2023.
Desiree Illiana Williams was born on June 28, 1985. It was in the Park Slope section of Brooklyn where Desiree was raised.
At the young age of 3, her mother; Mona Williams, introduced Desiree to the world of Dance. At that time, during her leisure Desiree attended the Dance for Joy, Dance theatre of Harlem and the Ballet Hispanico schools to develop her skills and train as a Ballerina. Desiree excelled and was honored and respected as a professional dancer.
While living in Park Slope, Desiree became a staple in her neighborhood. She accomplished this by securing her mark as a professional childcare provider. A multitude of families around the neighborhood sought her out in effort to provide childcare for their children. Desiree was trusted and loved by not only the parents she provided service to but also the children she provided the services for. Desiree adored children. She could be seen walking and engaging with the local community on a daily basis.
Desiree carried an infectious spirit. Her smile had the ability to brighten any room she entered. Kind, warm and giving, she stood out amongst her peers. Like her mom, she had a great sense of style and fashion. Desiree clearly was a loving spirit to all those that had the pleasure of meeting her and cultivating a bond of friendship.
On August 24, 2023, Desiree was called home to our Lord and received her wings. She is preceded in death by her mother; Ms. Mona WIlliams, of Brooklyn, New York. She leaves to mourn her, her brother Darius, also of Brooklyn, NY.
Desiree also leaves to mourn her a host of family and friends.
Desiree Illiana Williams will be loved and missed for eternity.
