Desmond Wright Sinclair

SINCLAIR – Desmond Wright Sinclair, known to his loved ones as Des, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 24, 2023, at the age of 75. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 in the Mausoleum at East Shadowlawn Memorial Gardens, 87 Scenic Highway, Lawrenceville, GA. Pastor Jimmy Wilson will officiate. Des was born on November 26, 1947 in Atlanta, GA, to John and Avril Sinclair. He married his high school sweetheart, the late Mae Elizabeth Sinclair, and they were married for 58 years. Des was the manager at Wilson Jones for 25 years. He loved scuba diving, playing tennis, and watching the Braves and Georgia Bulldogs. His favorite activity was to enjoy his two children, five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren and their activities. He loved his family and loved spending time with them. Des was preceded in death by his wife, Mae Elizabeth Sinclair; parents, John and Avril Sinclair; and sister Lissa Jackson. He is survived by his daughter & son-in-law, Connie & Scott New of Monroe; son & daughter-in-law, Jason & Shannon Sinclair of Monroe; grandchildren, Loren & Dee Ledbetter of Monroe, Kaley & Mark Malone of Good Hope, Nicole & Cory Gibson of Monroe, Chase & Kaitlynne Sinclair of Bethlehem, Jeffrey New of Monroe; great grandchildren, Hailey, Luke, Jack, Aria, Brecken, Summer, Anna Lee, Sophie & Weston; brother, Scott Sinclair of Newnan; as well as several nieces and nephews.
